Circles and Rituals

Every month at Scargle Nargle we hold a full moon circle. We begin by setting up sacred space and then we use the energy of the powerful full moon to do a piece of magical work, whether it be working on intentions, manifesting, healing or something that is currently appropriate to send energy to. We then close the space down again and have some social time. These ceremonies are both empowering and uplifting and we get great feedback from them. You can also participate online in real time. These circles are advertised on the Scargle Nargle Facebook page each month.

The Wheel of the Year

There are 8 sabbats on our calendar and for each of them we hold a ritual and celebration. These are as follows:

Imbolc: 1st February

Spring Equinox: 21st March

Bealtaine: 1st May

Summer Solstice: 21st June

Lughnasadh: 1st August

Autumn Equinox: 21st September

Samhain: 31st October

Winter Solstice: 21st December (dates approx)

Where possible we celebrate outdoors on local sacred sites but have also taken part in much bigger celebrations in the south of Ireland such as Beltaine at the Hill of Uisneach and Samhain at Tlachtga (Hill of Ward)
